RGR Game #004: Kid Niki

All right, folk(s), it's time for the next game! Kid Niki: Radical Ninja is the tale of an apparently radical ninja with either a rat tail (as depicted on the box) or some kind of spiked mullet, on a quest to rescue Princess Margo from the clutches of the evil Stone Wizard. What a story, eh? Well, Niki is no ordinary radical ninja; he's the master of the spinning sword, a magical sword that... spins. Yep, that's about all there is to it.

In Japan, the game is known as Kaiketsu Yanchamaru, and actually had two sequels there. Both sequels are pretty bad, so this is the last time I'll mention them. Ever. In my life.

You have infinite continues, and although some levels are difficult, they're not particularly long, and there are only eight of them. I'm already at the last level, so I should have this one in the bag later today.

So radical! Gnarly, even!
So radical! Gnarly, even!

Yes, most certainly will!
Yes, most certainly will!
Wouldn't a straight line be quicker?
Wouldn't a straight line be quicker?

I told you the next one would be short.
